It is time to celebrate the long-awaited Freedom Day in Iceland:
From tomorrow (Feb. 25), all domestic and border restrictions in Iceland will be lifted!
That means that all rules regarding limitations due to the pandemic will be removed. Most important: no disease prevention measures will be in place at the border, regardless of whether individuals are vaccinated or unvaccinated. This makes Iceland the perfect destination for your next holiday!
Tourists are still advised to be careful and practice personal infection prevention measures. Please be also aware that masks still have to be worn on flights to and from Iceland, so check with your airline in advance.
