City Breaks Nature and Wellness

Fly to Keflavik International Airport. Upon arrival, you will take a coach airport transfer to your hotel in Reykjavik.  Depending on your flight times you stop at the Blue Lagoon, where guests renew their relationship with nature in the geothermal spa. Soak up the scenic beauty and enjoy breathing the clean, fresh air, while relaxing in the warm geothermal seawater. Transfer to your hotel after your spa experience.

Reykjavik is excellent for shopping and you will find many small, unique design shops that you will not find anywhere else. Reykjavik is also known for its many cafés, bars, and restaurants in the city centre. We will gladly give you recommendations.

Today you are free to enjoy the facilities at your hotel,  where you can also book optional treatments in addition. Spend the rest of your day strolling around the capital and getting to know the city. You could go up to Hallgrimskirkja Church for a panoramic view of the city or visit Harpa Music Hall. In the city centre, you will also find museums, cafés, restaurants, and shops. 

Today you will experience the power of the geothermal nature in Iceland. The tour starts at Thingvellir National Park, where you can see the rift between two tectonic plates. On this tour, you will see the geyser geothermal area with Iceland's most active hot spring, Strokkur, which shoots steaming hot water from the earth every seven minutes. Another highlight is the thundering "golden" waterfall Gullfoss. The last stop is at the natural hot spring Laugarvatn Fontana, where you bathe in the geothermal and mineral-filled water. The surroundings have been kept natural for an authentic hot spring feeling. You can also taste the home made rye bread which is baked in the earth next to the hot spring.

Depending on your flight schedule you could add a final visit to the Spa and Wellness Centre at your hotel. Take the coach airport transfer to Keflavik International Airport in time for your departure flight.
